Bubbles, January 4

I briefly glossed over the bath as part of our bedtime ritual a few posts ago. I think I need to remedy that by giving the bubble bath it's very own post. The boys got some bubble bath for Christmas and have been in heaven ever since. Bubble-filled, watermelon scented heaven. Watching the bubbles start as I pour in the liquid to the tub is the first bit of fun. Then there is the oohing and ahhhing over the sight of the full tub, foamy whiteness covering every inch with glimpses of color between where the toys are floating in wait. They squeal as they're lifted and set into the tub grabbing handfuls of bubbles. Liam has taken to giving the rubber duckies each their own little shampoo. Connor tries to eat them...what won't that kid put in his mouth? I've got a tub full of toys and the bubbles are the piece de resistance. They play until they're pruney. $2.79 and the boys have never been happier. I think I need to take a page from their playbook and take a nice bubble bath myself, sans the rubber ducky thank you.
